Richard Graves has been providing commercial lending to businesses since the 1990’s with a solid reputation in Commercial Lending.  Richard Graves began his longstanding career in commercial mortgages after graduating from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987.   In his early years, Richard held several positions as Senior Loan Officer for corporations such as Colorado First Commercial Mortgage.  As Senior Loan Officer, Richard wrote training and marketing manuals for loan originators and offices nationwide, trained new loan officers, conducted nationwide inspections on properties, and originated commercial mortgages.

For each corporation Richard was employed with, he was the top producer.  Richard then became the Senior Vice President for North American Acquisitions and Lending, where he put together the first Conduit loan (a mixed borrower/mixed asset pool of loans) ever, paving the way for modern commercial lending programs.  The first pool of loans closed in 1991 and was in excess of $128,000,000.  In the mid 1990’s, he spent many years as a direct hard money lender, as well as funding and servicing loans for various insurance companies, banks, and pension funds.  As president of SRQ Lending, Inc, Richard maintains the responsibility of managing his staff, originating, packaging, underwriting, and closing incoming commercial loans.  Richard has 30 years of experience in the commercial mortgage industry and welcomes many more years to come!
